We are looking for a Project Management Specialist with more than 10 years of experience to join our team in Malta.
The Project Management Specialist works closely with ICT teams, Product Owners and business stakeholders to determine, document and track digital and ICT-related projects' goals, scope, quality and deadlines. The role focuses on creating and executing detailed project plans while ensuring efficient resource utilization, risk mitigation and alignment with corporate enterprise architecture methodologies to guarantee timely, in-scope and within-budget project completion.
This includes designing and maintaining comprehensive project schedules, managing the critical path, and allocating resources effectively based on team availability and skills. The specialist is responsible for tracking day-to-day project execution, proactively identifying potential risks, and developing robust mitigation strategies or managing issue logs. Additionally, the role involves handling changes in scope, schedule or resources effectively, while maintaining high standards of project documentation, compliance, and governance throughout the lifecycle.
The role also involves operational and coordination tasks, such as managing demand by capturing and prioritizing business needs to translate them into potential ICT projects, as well as overseeing the effective execution of evolutionary maintenance activities for ICT applications. The specialist will manage project coordination, training procedures, and user acceptance testing (UAT), preferably applying recognized methodologies (PRINCE2, PM2, PMP). Furthermore, the professional independently handles project tracking and collaboration using advanced tools like Microsoft Project, the Atlassian suite, Azure DevOps, or equivalent software.
In collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, the professional prepares and presents regular status reports, risk matrices, and statistics, coordinates with external vendors, and bridges the gap between ICT service delivery and application lifecycle management. The role includes driving collaboration among team members, resolving conflicts, conducting project reviews, monitoring quality control KPIs, and supporting change management to continuously improve ICT efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Years of experience: >= 10 years.
- Educational level: EQF Level 5 (or equivalent).
- English level: C1.
