🔹The Project🔹

You will join our team as an IT Project Management Officer, supporting the governance and oversight of IT projects for a European agency based in Copenhagen. These initiatives are part of a broader digital transformation and IT portfolio, where your role will focus on ensuring proper project governance, consolidating portfolio-level reporting, monitoring risks, and supporting Project Managers.

You will act as a central point for portfolio-level project information, enabling strategic alignment, smooth communication, and timely decision-making. All communication and documentation will be conducted in English. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in high-impact IT projects within a dynamic, international, and collaborative environment.


🔹Responsibilities🔹

• Support the definition and implementation of IT project governance standards, including lifecycle stages, documentation templates, risk frameworks, and reporting formats.

• Develop and maintain a portfolio-level overview of all active IT projects, tracking status, risks, issues, and resource planning.

• Coordinate the preparation of consolidated IT project status reports for management.

• Maintain and monitor the project risk register at portfolio level.

• Support the change management process, assessing impacts across projects.

• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and inter-project dependencies.

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of governance meetings (project boards, steering committees, portfolio reviews).

• Provide methodological support to Project Managers to ensure compliance with agreed processes.

• Support management in annual and multi-annual project planning, including resource forecasting and capacity planning.

• Assist with contractual milestone tracking and vendor deliverables monitoring at the portfolio level.


🔹Required Profile🔹

We are looking for an IT Project Management Officer with:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project Management Office (PMO) roles or portfolio management.

• Proven experience in project governance, reporting, risk management, and resource planning.

• Strong analytical and organizational skills, capable of working with multiple Project Managers.

• Fluency in English


🔹Nice to Have🔹

• PMO Certified Practitioner (PMO-CP), CAPM, PRINCE2 Foundation, PM² Essentials.

• PgMP (Program Management Professional) or PfMP (Portfolio Management Professional) for advanced experience.

• ITIL 4 Specialist: Direct, Plan and Improve (focus on governance and continuous improvement).

• Experience in international or multicultural environments.
