🚀 What we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Network & Security Engineer with solid experience in enterprise networking and hybrid (on-prem + cloud) environments, passionate about building secure, resilient and highly available infrastructures.

You’ll join a key project focused on modernising and securing the network, ensuring robust connectivity between on-premises systems and Azure/AWS environments, and preparing the ground for the future adoption of hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).

Your mission will be to design, operate and secure the Agency’s LAN, WAN and VPN services, manage firewalls and network segmentation, and work closely with systems and cloud teams to guarantee safe, efficient data flows across the entire ecosystem.

✅ Must-haves for this challenge

• At least 5 years of professional experience in network engineering roles.
• Fluent English (C1), both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in the operation and maintenance of LAN, WAN and VPN infrastructures.
• Experience managing connectivity between on-premise systems and cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Solid hands-on experience configuring and administering firewalls.
• Experience monitoring network performance and availability, as well as reviewing security logs.
• Experience with network integration using Azure ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways and AWS VPCs (or equivalent connectivity services).
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.

⭐ Nice-to-have

• Exposure to hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) and its networking implications (topology, traffic optimisation, management networks).
• Experience with Nutanix or similar HCI platforms.
• Relevant certifications such as:
• CCNP Enterprise (or equivalent major vendor certification).
• Cisco Certified Specialist – Security Core.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Network Engineer Associate.
• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty.
• CCNA, Cisco DevNet Associate.
• Nutanix Certified Professional – Multicloud Infrastructure (NCP-MCI).
