Minimum requirements
✅Main responsibilities
- We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer. The selected candidate will design, prepare and monitor automated tests; contribute to the definition of approaches and test automation architecture; develop and maintain reusable frameworks for web, API and backend testing; and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines. The candidate will also collaborate with development and manual testing teams to identify automation opportunities, extend regression suites and promote a shift-left approach.
🧠 Required Experience
- At least 12 years of professional IT experience.
- 5 years of experience working in software development environments.
- 3 years of experience testing applications developed in Angular environments.
- 3 years of experience with Zephyr Scale.
- 3 years of experience with Cucumber.
Valuable experience:
- Experience working in Agile environments, preferably under the PM² methodology.
- Experience in test data management, version control and the integration of automated testing in CI/CD pipelines.
Required knowledge
- Web and API test automation, and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver.
- Design and implementation of test automation solutions.
- Zephyr Scale and Cucumber.
- Automation programming in Java, Python or JavaScript.
- Integration with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitLab.
- DevSecOps approach.
- Preparation of clear and structured reports.
- Ability to work independently and in international/multicultural teams.
- Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
📚 Education
- University degree corresponding to EQF Level 6 (Bachelor’s degree or at least three years of higher education).
- ISTQB Certified Tester certification, or equivalent.
- Spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level.
